DUFFY HEALTH CENTER provides comprehensive, integrated health care and support services to persons who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness on Cape Cod.
In 2007, Duffy initiated a five-year marketing plan with the goal of supporting the launch of a capital campaign to fund construction of a new center that opened in 2011 to house all of its services under one roof. One key area of Duffy’s plan was to build brand awareness in its market area so that residents and healthcare professionals would recognize Duffy Health Center’s value to the community and ultimately donate funds for the new center. To build brand awareness and credibility, we designed a new logo, developed brand standards for consistency and applied it to key touch points such as mobile health clinic, informative donor packets, capital campaign collateral, and public service announcement ads. The essence of the logo symbolizes an abstract fingerprint swirling with life with purple and green conveying empowerment and nurturing. In 2016, Duffy hired staff to manage their brand internally based on the brand guidelines and tools we established.
