Established in 1991, Carol McLeod Design specializes in branding, website design and development, and visual communications for marketing, sales, and customer service initiatives. Our broad range of services allows us to produce measurable solutions that help clients effectively reach their customers while maintaining brand consistency across all communication touch points. We combine strategic methods with our creative madness to give brands momentum. Carol McLeod
As the founder of CMD, Carol is responsible for the overall quality and effectiveness of the firm’s product and is ultimately accountable to each client. She is actively involved in every aspect of a project – from strategic planning, messaging and concept through the creative process to production coordination and marketing – and works closely with clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.

Prior to establishing Carol McLeod Design in 1991, Carol worked as a freelance designer on assignments for such accounts as Etonic, Houghton Mifflin, and Mount Sinai Medical Center. Previously, she was a Senior Communications Designer for a Cape-based consulting firm where she created sales and marketing materials for marinas, both domestically and internationally. She started her career at a small design studio in Providence, RI whose clients were primarily academic institutions and cultural organizations.
Carol graduated from the College of Visual and Performing Arts at UMass Dartmouth (formerly Southeastern Massachusetts University) and holds a BFA in Visual Design. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce. She was inducted into the UMass Dartmouth Athletics Corsair Hall of Fame in 1992.
Chris Daigneault
Chris is the design engine at the heart of the firm. His creative mind is always churning. He specializes in print, web and interactive, exhibit, and package design and has an extensive knowledge of image development and retouching.
What You Can Expect from Chris: Fresh, effective, surprising solutions. Chris possesses all of the skill, experience, versatility, and judgment one expects to find in a senior-level creative member.

Why Clients Want to Work with Chris: Chris helps clients clarify their expectations and desires. He’s willing to challenge assumptions to make the work better. He strives to understand not only what the client wants, but what the target audience needs.
Prior to joining Carol McLeod Design in 1996, Chris worked at Robert Falcone Design in East Greenwich, RI primarily on assignments for Citizens Bank, Fleet Bank and Textron corporate accounts. Chris began his career by freelancing at many reputable design firms and advertising agencies in the Boston area including Arnold Advertising; Cabot Advertising; Emerson, Lane, Fortuna, Inc.; Impact Marketing and Communication; and John Dough Advertising.
Chris holds a BS in Graphic Design Communications from Fitchburg State College and a certificate in Computer Systems/Interface Design from Rhode Island School of Design. He is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA).
